2024 Mission Retreat
October 14-17, 2024
We look forward to meeting you this fall in Lake Dallas. The theme of this year’s retreat is how to inculcate and grow a remnant mission within a local parish. Sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday will be organized with breakout sessions discussing these four topics:
Praying for mission
Forming your remnant
Spiritual direction as a framework for minsitry
Hospitality as the central mode of mission
Below is the current schedule.

Each session will begin with a brief keynote introducing the topic. The remainder of the session will be organized around smaller breakout groups, where attendees can discuss and compare notes with other attendees.
All sessions and activities will be held at the Montserrat Jesuit Retreat House, a 37-acre facility located on the shores of Lewisville Lake. The retreat center is located 45-60 minutes north of Dallas/Ft. Worth and Dallas Love Field airports.
Retreat participants will have full access to the Retreat House facilities, including the chapel, seminar rooms, dining hall, and indoor and outdoor space for meditation.
The regular registration rate is $475, which includes room (3 nights), meals and use of the conference facility. We have reserved the facility’s entire inventory of single and double rooms with private baths, with registration charged on a per person (rather than per room) basis.
In addition to the program sessions, a major goal of the retreat is to promote fellowship between attendees through shared worship, meals and evening socials.
Please contact jwest@thedht.org if you have any questions about the retreat or the registration process.
